THE VISION                                                 "Where there is no vision, the people perish"   Proverbs 29:16

As God allows -
This is the Vision for Impact Northwest

The future of our Nation depends on the development of the next generation.

We will acquire 100+ acres in Central Washington to build a camp which will provide facilities for youth organizations to use in building the next generation of young adults through positive experiences, self esteem and character building events. These events will challenge them to grow in moral character and personal responsibility. Organizations such as Royal Rangers, Scouting, civic clubs, church youth groups, etc. are some of the types of organizations that can benefit from these camp experiences.

Our camp will be located in Central Washington along the I-90 corridor to make travel as convenient as possible from all corners of the state. Close enough to the freeway for access, yet far enough away from neighbors to not disturb them with camp noise and also allowing privacy and security.

The property will be 100+ acres giving enough space for modern camp as well as rough area for wilderness type activities.
The site will have a mix of terrain with both level and hillside for variety of camp facilities and activity sites. It will have trees for shade and firewood and have some sort of water source; creek or pond.

The camp will be developed in three phases:

PHASE 1     Land Acquisition and Basic Improvements.
The goal for 2010 is to locate the right piece of land that meets the vision requirements and secure it via land donation, fund raising to purchase it, or a combination of both. Once secured, the basic needs of water and power will be added. At this point a site plan will be designed to map out locations of planned buildings and activity sites.

PHASE 2    Rough Camp Development.
Phase 2 is to clear camping areas for rough camp type events as outlined in the site plan. These camps use tents or RV's and require little in the way of improvements. Other type events could include archery shoots, buck-skinning rendezvous, survival camps, etc. Trees will be strategically cut to open campsites, assembly field, and amphitheater space. Field event sites will be opened up that require simple construction; archery and shooting ranges, ropes courses, etc. The Amphitheater will have a permanent stage structure for major camp group assemblies.

PHASE 3    Finished Camp Development.
As time and money allow, the following type structures will be constructed:
Main Lodge to serve as dining hall and for group meetings
Bath Houses
Cabin type dorms for camper sleeping.
Retreat Center for smaller groups
Water Center for swimming
Recreation Pavilion
Sport Courts and Athletic Fields
